Congressman Kevin Cramer (R-ND) Praises U.S. Department Of Housing And Urban Development Grant To Fort Berthold Housing Authority

Washington, DC – March 5, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Today, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development announced the award of $914,000 in Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) funding to the Fort Berthold Housing Authority. The Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 provides IHBG funding for a range of affordable housing activities.

“This competitive award is a recognition of the Fort Berthold Housing Authorities Indian Housing Plan, and has the potential of providing new and continued employment for the Fort Berthold Housing Authority,” Cramer said today.

Congressman Kevin Cramer serves on both the Natural Resources and Science, Space and Technology Committees, including the Indian and Alaska Native Affairs Natural Resources Subcommittee.
