Hoeven Announces $900,000 HUD Grant for Spirit Lake Tribe

WASHINGTON – February 10, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations and Indian Affairs Committees, today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded $900,000 to the Spirit Lake Tribe. The funds are made available through HUD’s Indian Community Development Block Grant program and will help to improve housing and provide economic opportunities.

“All North Dakotans deserve access to affordable, quality housing and economic opportunities,” Hoeven said. “This HUD grant will help the Spirit Lake Tribe better meet the housing needs of those in their community, while also helping to promote a robust local economy.”
