Mortgage Advice for Tornado Victims

-

BISMARCK, ND – July 16, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA) urges Dickinson homeowners with outstanding mortgages to contact their lender if their residence received damage as the result of the recent tornado.

“Homeowners who may face difficulty in making mortgage payments due to serve storm damage should contact their mortgage company,” said Mike Anderson, NDHFA executive director. “Be prepared to provide updated contact information, information on the home’s condition, and your ability to make future mortgage payments.”

NDHFA borrowers should call (800) 292-8621, (701) 328-8080 or servicing (at) ndhfa (dot) org. If your home loan is held by another lender, contact that financial institution as soon as possible.
