MINOT, ND - August 9, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Senator John Hoeven, along with state and local community leaders, today participated in an open house and groundbreaking for the Washington Townhomes housing project in Minot. The leaders marked the completion of the first 32 affordable residential rental units and broke ground on the second phase of project, which consists of an additional 32 units. Phase II of the project is expected to be completed by summer 2014. Washington Townhomes will be a two?story, townhome?style design, except for fully accessible units, which will have one level.

WASHINGTON, DC - July 17, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Senators John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp and Congressman Kevin Cramer announced today that North Dakota will receive four awards from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) totaling over $7.5 million. The funds will come from HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program.

MINOT, N.D. - July 3, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today met with Minot Air Force leaders and service members to discuss important military construction projects on the base. Hoeven worked to include over $30 million in funding for construction and maintenance projects at Minot Air Force Base in the Fiscal 2014 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act approved by Hoeven and the Appropriations Committee in June.
