Hoeven, Donnelly Reintroduce Legislation to Reduce Delays in Cross-Border Energy Infrastructure Projects
Senators John Hoeven (R-N.D.) and Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) today introduced theNorth American Energy Infrastructure Act, a measure that will prevent unnecessarily protracted delays for important energy infrastructure projects like the Keystone XL pipeline, electrical transmission lines and natural gas pipelines. H.R. 2028, the Fiscal Year 2016 Energy and Water Appropriations bill, which provides a total of $35.4 billion in discretionary funding for nuclear weapons activities, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Energy, and related agencies.
