HOEVEN ANNOUNCES $1.4 MILLION IN FEDERAL FUNDING TO SUPPORT HEAD START PROGRAMS IN MANDAN
WASHINGTON, D.C. — (RealEstateRama) — Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Administration for Children and Families/Office of Head Start has awarded $1,474,524 to Housing, Industry, Training, Inc. (HIT), which operates West River Head Start in Mandan, and today’s grant will support those services.
“By investing in programs to promote school readiness for children, we’re helping to set our next generation of leaders on a path to success,” Hoeven said. “Today’s funding will help low-income children have access to the services they need to learn, grow and thrive.”
