Hoeven: HUD Awards Nearly $350K in CDBG Funds to Grand Forks

WASHINGTON – September 25, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded $345,707 to the City of Grand Forks through its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. CDBG supports state and local efforts to ensure access to decent housing and suitable living environments and expand economic opportunities, primarily for moderate- and low-income households.

“Today’s grant will support Grand Forks’ efforts to promote a robust local economy and ensure residents have access to safe and quality housing,” Hoeven said.
