Hoeven Announces $2 Million FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant for Fargo Wastewater Treatment Plant
Senator John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a $2 million grant from its Hazard Mitigation program to protect Fargo’s wastewater treatment plant from flooding. The improvements to the city’s wastewater system will minimize the risk of sewer backup into public and private property during a flooding incident.
