CRAMER: WILLISTON AIRPORT RECEIVES $26.6 MILLION AIRPORT RELOCATION GRANT

Congressman Kevin Cramer announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded the City of Williston $26.6 million to relocate and expand Sloulin Field International Airport. Congressman Cramer and FAA Administrator Michael Huerta discussed the announcement in a phone call this afternoon.

Hoeven Announces North Dakota Selected for Grants through USDA Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee and the Committee on Agriculture, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has selected North Dakota as one of 21 states to receive grants through the agency’s Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership (BIP) program. Hoeven, then-governor, first launched the state’s blender pump program in 2009, resulting in 200 pumps being installed.

Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations and Agriculture Committees, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Development has awarded two grants totaling $910,000 to Benson County to fund improvements to the City of Leeds’ sanitary sewer. Benson County also received a $1.08 million loan to support the project. The funds are made available through USDA’s Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant Program as well as its Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
