WASHINGTON – September 10, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee and the Committee on Agriculture, announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved a conditional commitment for a guaranteed loan of $647,000 for S&S Grain in Walhalla and a loan of $64,000 for the City of Finley – a total of $711,000. Hoeven also announced a $51,000 grant for the City of Finley, which will use both the grant and loan for their water tower replacement project. S&S Grain will use its funds to add a 75,000 bushel grain storage bin at their facilities, as well as buy and install a new grain load out system which will help them load rail cars quicker.
“Investments in local infrastructure ensure the continued well-being of our state and all who live there,” Hoeven said. “Today’s funds will help make North Dakota a better place to live and work.”
