HUD Awards $26 Million in Grants to Fight Housing Discrimination
WASHINGTON, DC - January 21, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development today awarded $26.3 million to 98 fair housing organizations and other non-profit agencies in 37 states and the District of Columbia to assist people who believe they have been victims of housing discrimination.
Tax Credits Available to Developers of Low-income Housing
BISMARCK, ND - December 30, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- The North Dakota Industrial Commission has approved the 2010 Low Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP), providing more than $2.4 million worth of federal tax credits to support affordable housing development next year. The program is administered by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA).
