WASHINGTON – (RealEstateRama) — Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded $350,000 to the Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC) in Grand Forks. CVIC will use the funds to provide support services and housing for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

“Victims of domestic violence need to be protected and that includes ensuring they have a safe place to live,” Hoeven said. “Today’s grant will help survivors secure housing, which will help them safely rebuild their lives.”
