HOEVEN ANNOUNCES $350,000 DOJ GRANT TO HELP VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded $350,000 to the Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC) in Grand Forks. HOEVEN ANNOUNCES $140,000 FOR RURAL HOUSING REPAIR AND REHABILITATION
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee and Agriculture Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded two grants totaling $140,000 for the repair and rehabilitation of low-income housing in rural North Dakota. The Souris Basin Planning Council and the Turtle Mountain Housing authority have each received $70,000, made available through the USDA’s Housing Preservation Grant program
HOEVEN ANNOUNCES $911K GRANT TO PREVENT VETERAN HOMELESSNESS IN NORTH DAKOTA
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee on Veterans Affairs, today announced that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded $911,497 to the Community Action Partnership (CAP) of North Dakota to help veterans and their families secure or remain in permanent housing. The funds are made available through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program and will enable CAP to provide services such as outreach, case management and assistance obtaining VA and other benefits

Hoeven Announces $800,000 HUD Grant for Spirit Lake Housing
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded $800,000 to the Spirit Lake Housing Corporation. The funds are made available through HUD’s Community Development Block Grant MOLD Grant program and will help remediate and prevent mold in housing at Spirit Lake.
Hoeven Announces North Dakota Selected for Grants through USDA Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee and the Committee on Agriculture, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has selected North Dakota as one of 21 states to receive grants through the agency’s Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership (BIP) program. Hoeven, then-governor, first launched the state’s blender pump program in 2009, resulting in 200 pumps being installed.
