The Souris Basin Planning Council and the Turtle Mountain Housing authority have each received $70,000, made available through the USDA’s Housing Preservation Grant program

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee on Veterans Affairs, today announced that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded $911,497 to the Community Action Partnership (CAP) of North Dakota to help veterans and their families secure or remain in permanent housing. The funds are made available through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program and will enable CAP to provide services such as outreach, case management and assistance obtaining VA and other benefits
